Sunday Services: Our service includes readings from The King James Version of The Bible and correlative passages from our textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. The order of services may be found in The Christian Science Quarterly.
Sunday School: Our Sunday School holds classes to help young people learn about themselves and about God. Students become acquainted with the foundational truths of the inspired Word of the Bible along with their practical application as taught in Christian Science.
Young people up to the age of 20 are invited to come and explore how God guides their lives.
Wednesday Services: Besides listening to readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in the first half-hour, the congregation is welcome, in the second half-hour, to share examples of the spiritual growth and physical healings they have achieved through the practical application of the teachings of Christian Science.
All are welcome at the Christian Science Reading Room.
The Reading Room for the Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, Houston, Texas is located in a shopping center next door to Quiznos at the corner of Chimney Rock and Woodway.

We are a full service reading room. There is a sales room, a media room, and a study room as well as an office.
Our salesroom carries all the latest publications from the Christian Science Publishing Society. Here you will find The Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings of Mary Baker Eddy, and other Christian Science publications including The Christian Science Monitor, an international daily newspaper.
The study room has the bound volumes of our church periodicals going back to the late 1800's, book shelves with out-of-print pamphlets, over 200 lectures, a lending library, and four sets of marked books including one in Spanish. Here you can read the Weekly Lesson, study the available books and periodicals, borrow them from the Lending Library, or purchase them if you would like your own copy.
Our media room has a computer with Found Volumes, an index of the Christian Science Journal and Christian Science Sentinel articles dating back to 1883, and Concord, a computerized reference to the Bible and to Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. We also have video players that show our current Bible lesson and other videos as well as a boom box for CDs and cassettes.
From time to time we are given Christian Science books from estates. These are available to the public for a donation. Many times these include "out of print" pamphlets and books. For example we were recently given a set of leather reader's size books. You can't get these any more.
Please come by and check us out. We are truly a sanctuary for "earnest seekers for Truth."
New Products: A new edition of the "Words Only Hymnal" will soon be available in the Reading Room. It is advertised on the Journal back cover.
